Review {Chi & Prosys}

My hair is one of my favourite parts about me, thus I invest a lot of time and money into it. When you only wash your hair once a week, you might as well make it worth it. My new favourite shampoo: Prosys Organic Shampoo. I love it because it is a cream, meaning it is more nourishing. My hair doesn't feel like it was stripped of everything it once knew and loved. It lathers a tad but is able to make its way around my head. It smells really good! That is always a bonus. Conditioner/ leave-in/Hair Mask: Chi Nourish Intense It really does leave me hair feeling great, no matter which way I use it. Sometimes when I want my hair curly I will wet my hair, skip shampoo and just conditioner and it is light enough to create nourished but not heavy curls. This also smells good. Not a conventional smell, but more spicy, like most Chi products.                                       ...

Deep Conditioning Hair Treatments: Product Review

My hair is one of my most favourite things about me and being a girl. I think everyone should treat their hair like their first born. We treat it so badly with all those heat products, tight ponytailss, backcombing and that big mean sun that it deserves special treatment on the regular. My hair was soooo silky soft and so easy to style. One week I even used it as a leave in, while swearing off heating tools. So there were 7 days of a lot of braids and buns, but my hair thanked me. The second I received in a swag bag from a Joe Fresh party, Joico’s...

At Home Hair Colouring

Hey ladies! As a new grad I had to take out one of my loves from my budget: getting my hair professionally done. It as a sad day, but sometimes us girls have to be resourceful. But my bad luck happens to be your good luck, because now I know the great box colour brands and the not so great. Lets start with Loreal's Preference. Love, Love, Love this product. It goes a long way, but I still needed two boxes. It is still thick enough that it does not splash or goop all over. It stays. And does not smell as bad as the others. My second choice is Gosh. It has all the same great qualities as Loreal, but the colour did not come out as what I wanted or what was on the box. It may have been that I used to to try a botched job from the day before. So I won't let that stop me from using this product again. Brands I did not like:  Product did not go far enough Colour faded really fast  The brush thing was a bit much. I thought this blog post may ...
