Fitness Regime

I am not a 'skinny' girl by any means, I have always been bigger, no matter how many sports I played or how much I didn't put in my mouth. In high school I was on every sports team, my first year of university I went to the gym almost every day and go into kick-boxing. Since then I have been on and off the fitness regime (but mostly off) and I feel the effects. I have been so busy with work and school that my health has lost priority. June 1st I am moving into an apartment building that has a gym and a pool! So I am very excited to get into a new fitness schedule. It is also in Eau Claire so I will be near Prince's Island Park, where I can go for lots and lots of walks! I am going to make a huge effort to try and get back to feeling and looking great! I will be sure to document my trials and tribulations with you along the way!

Wooden Sticks = Life Saver

I use these first to push back my cuticles. I use it to take off the excess polish (while it is still wet) that has somehow magically gotten on my fingers. And they are super cheap around $2 for the pack. I got mine at Chatters, I am sure they are anywhere you buy nail polish.

Lip Treatments

These are the what I use on a daily basis.  This one is saved for more special occasions. Nars Lip Lacquer in Hot Wire.  It is fairly sticky but its just such a great colour I put up with it.  EOS- this one is perfect for on the go- easy to put on and very light. Tastes great with the different flavours. FYI I also use EOS shave cream, its great and available in Canada, while the lip balm is not.  I bought this at Sephora- it is light but very moisturizing and tastes great! A tad on the expensive side but I like how easy it goes on.

Nails- Week of May 2

Easter Nails! These are my sister's hands. Base coat is Summer Peach  by American Apparel. The dots consist of  Essie's Mint Candy Apple and Tarte Deco, Joe Fresh's Faded Violet and finally Yellow 3  from Urban Outfitters. Accent nail, of course. Silver is Pedal to the Metal by Sally Hanson Salon  and the green is Jade is the New Black  by O.P.I I have had this colour for years - Charisma by Zoya. This one is very easy to apply and dries super fast with a matte finish. I did put a top coat on because it chips very fast. Which it did anyway the next day. The base coat is Commander in Chic by Sally Hansen Salon and over top is O.P.I's Black Shatter  from the Katy Perry Collection. When I first got this months ago it was really good and now it is goopy and applies thick and now you see is shiny and looks tacky. I have been told that there is a pharmacy brand that has a lot of colours and applies better, I will check it out! This is Tarte Deco  by Essie. It is
